The Dubai Port Thing
Hmm, for the lack of anything else to post...
It seems to me that if your goal were to promote Mideast democracy and freedom, then letting Mideast companies invest in the US would be the right thing to do. Especially a company from the UAE, a relatively liberal Mideast nation. Blocking this port deal would be telling Arab investors to stay away--for a long time.
GOP Congress = racist fanatics.
Democrat Congress = clever, opportunistic asses.
