-beat-

I can't stop chewing ice. I wonder if it's bad for my teeth.

I'm chewing ice right now, in fact. Why is it so satisfying? It's like the ultimate way to drink water, really, since you are forced to slow down and enjoy every sliver when ingesting it in crushed ice form. Also, it immediately melts to the coldest water possible right when it hits the tongue--and we all know how awesome ice-cold water is.

Our class just read Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead--it kicked ass. We also watched the movie. It had Gary Oldman in it, which was awesome. Gary Oldman is the tightest actor ever.

Reading the play aloud in class (which my teacher likes to do) was sort of ghetto. R+G does not lend itself well to monotonous recitations. :P The movie helped a lot to make some connections.

That's about it.

oh yeah we did that too, but my teacher is a complete and total idiot (as an example- she's concerned that we're not participating enough, so she asked for suggestions. as a joke, someone suggested we sit on the floor. instead of laughing it off, she took to the idea passionately, and as a result, we all sat uncomfortably on the dirty tiles for a period). she also said, "what you have to know is that people are different from each other. there are differences between them" as well as "in every society, no matter what, they have LIFE"

but yeah, it was painful getting through r and g for the way in which we were assigned to DRAW PICTURES of the puns we found.

ice is good.
