the seasons are dead. long live the seasons.

i think when they said that about the king, it was referring to the new king (whoever he was) so this is probably somewhat nonsensical. that being said, i feel like there were about two days of autumn, and then it was spring for a week or so, and then winter. all of which depresses me, because hey, i like autumn (i don't know what fall is like in other parts of the country, or in japan for that matter, but i have memories of gorgeously crisp fall days here in new york).

and i keep getting really uncomfortable chills at uncomfortable moments.

plus, 42 days, 22 hours, 31 minutes and 20 seconds until judgement day.

we're reading this poem in spanish with this line, ay! de mi alhama! our class says it together.
