wash u visited today and im going to get rejected

so everything was going well and then it was question time. i asked if he thought st louis was safe and he so avoided the questions, the campus is perfectly safe blah blah, st louis is 80 miles away blah. but seriously. at the far end of delmar it stops being safe. that's not 80 miles.

and then he asks rat boy (you remember him), "you were there this summer what do you think?" to which rat boy mumbles incoherently about how nice wash u was blah blah.

so i wasn't going to say anything, but this made me so mad that i asked point blank, 'well i was there this summer too and our profs told us they got mugged on a certain side of the campus.'

the room goes silent. people turn to look at me. he flushes and then sputters, "well i'd never heard that before! no one i never know got mugged!" then our head of guidance buts in and goes, blah blah safety is common sense you could get mugged in roslyn if you're being dumb.

and i'm thinking, no way in hell is he comparing st louis to roslyn.

anyway, yeah, wash u, another thing i have against you, you miserable school. which doesn't mean i'm not applying, it just means i'm not getting in anymore...
