look at what i found on the internet- a cornell branch something or another. internet stalking is vastly enjoyable, i suggest you try it sometime.
additionally, did anyone else get that letter from the honors program at michigan with a little note from david porter (sp82, cb83, ta87)?

Egad!
So that explains the mysterious note! Our Telluridian connexions
have already begun to work their magic for us...!
Lovelove,
gesso.
got that letter. ditto to what andrei said, I must now apply, I can't help it. I'm also applying to the honors program at UT Austin. Yay for Telluride loving safeties.
Goddamnit, Ye TASPers,
we've gone and disillusioned Jake!
As if living in Ohio weren't enough...
Are the deadlines for preferrement for Cornell and Michigan one-and-the-same? Is anyone going whole heartedly for Cornell and eschewing Michigan? It looks as if the Michigan contigent will be very hearty--during my stay at the lovely Michigan Branch House, Lynn & Keary (the factota from UTAustin) said that the Austion & St. Louis TASPs focused on recruiting for Michigan, and that the bulk of Cornell applicants come from the Cornell Programs. Regardless, all hail Michigan, with the 60+ applicants they hope to receive this year. The option seems more and more delightful as I spend more of these dedicated essay-writing days engaged in my oh-so-distinctive joint laugh/sob over the realization of how much our TASP has changed my life.
If only I could go back and tackle the cities again! Oh, dear me, I would have approached it so differently! And I miss you all, and really, that strange feeling of all of us together there, so very, very much.
Jimmy and Sarah's photographs have become unbearable.
Best of luck in the admissions process, especially now that the fond noose of early deadlines dangles dangerously close to our necks. You are all so very wonderful, and the schools will & must love you.

Post-Script: Has anyone thought up some brilliant way to highlight the immensity of our TASP experiences for those schools which might not be so familiar with L.L. Nunn and his glory? I have listed the program in as much detail as possible in every activities/summer programs box avaliable, but I would dearly like to put some brief (Oh, I lie!) written piece in as well. Any advice/love/moral suasion would be muchly appreciated!
