why we rock, part 1

so i sent out the email with why we're better than cornell, but i thought itd be nice to have in blog form. austin and umich entries to follow, as i get more info.

 i felt a bit left down by the whole experience
it was lame
the kids werent teenagers
a bit uptight, overanalyzing, thinking too much about
thinking
on the cornell "slut":
people reacted to her being in control of her body
plus i was the only gay guy and i sort of wanted to
get some while i was there
on the seminar:
it was decent, i guess
not the gold standard everyone made it out to be
on internationals:
there were tons
there were like 5 muslims
about half were awesome, half werent
on ithaca:
boring as fuck
i dont even want to apply to cornell
on sleep:
i went to bed earlier than my two room mates and they
always woke me up
on the chef:
great
i gained like 6 lbs
on the experience:
im not sure if id do it again
and yes people cried and it was lame that they did
i felt like people were talking and talking and
talking but saying nothing at all
there was really no tenderness, no one played.
everyone was really nerdy
but usually not in an endearing way
i just feel like people were immature and much too
ambivalent about black-and-white issues
